Kate Henshaw, a veteran actress, has been appointed as the Public Relations Officer of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN). The appointment was made during a special National Executive Council meeting that was held on Tuesday, January 9th to fill several vacant posts. The National Secretary of AGN, Abubakar Yakubu, confirmed the appointment in a statement released on the same day in Lagos. As Public Relations Officer, Kate Henshaw will be responsible for managing the image and reputation of the AGN, as well as communicating with the public and media on behalf of the organization. Her main role will be to promote the interests of actors in Nigeria and to support the development of the Nigerian film industry. She will be working closely with the rest of the AGN leadership team to achieve these goals. The veteran actress’s appointment is seen as a positive step towards the growth of the Nigerian film industry.
