It’s official, Rema’s Rave & Roses has garnered 1 billion streams across all platforms and the singer is letting us know how it feels as he accepts his plaque. Watch his acceptance speech here.
New-age music maestro, Rema has publicly expressed his joy after officially grossing 1 billion streams on his debut album, Rave & Roses.
The singer who’d had his headline show at the 02 Brixton Academy had received a plaque from his A&R, Rima Tahini, in honour of his achievement and had promptly dedicated it to fans.
Rema said; “This is for you, this belongs to you, and you deserve it. I want to say thank you for your love, and support. Thank you so much for believing in my ideas, and my crazy sound. First when I came out a lot of people laughed at me, they said I was too different, and my sound was Indian. And now look at this boy!”
