Ahead of the 2022 World Cup which would begin in Qatar in a few days, PSG star Neymar has expressed doubt about featuring in another campaign for his country, Brazil.
Tite who replaced Dunga in June 2016 and led Brazil to the quarterfinals of the 2018 World Cup where they lost 2-1 to Belgium, had told SportTV;
“I am very aware of my presence. It will be until the end of the World Cup. This is not the time to talk about it, but I don’t want to hide it either.”
Speaking in an interview with Globo, 30-year-old Neymar who is leading Brazil to the major tournament after making his international debut at 18, said he will play like it’s his last as he’s not sure he will be called up again.
He said;
“I’ll play like it’s the last. I talk to my father, we always talk, to play each game as if it were the last because you don’t know what will happen tomorrow.
“I can’t guarantee that I’ll play another [World] Cup. I honestly don’t know. I’ll play like it’s the last. Maybe I’ll play another one, maybe not. It depends. There’s going to be a coaching change and I don’t know if that coach will like me.”
