The FIFA Women’s World Cup Trophy Tour will make a stop in Nigeria on March 26.
According to a statement made available by FIFA on Thursday, the trophy tour will visit all 32 of the tournament’s participating nations.
The aim is to create excitement ahead of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup which will be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand
The trophy will move around the globe visiting different continents of Asia, Africa, South America, North America and Europe.
It will also crisscross all the nine host cities in the final weeks before the start of the tournament.
The Super Falcons of Nigeria are among the 32 countries that will take part in the competition.
