Lionel Messi’s chapter at Paris Saint Germain is reportedly set to end sooner than anyone expected the relationship to last.
However, transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Messi will leave the Ligue 1 club at the end of this season. He said the decision has been taken about a month ago but this recent incident nailed the player’s decision.
The future of the 34-year-old is still in doubt as he is been linked with a potential return to Barcelona, the MLS, or the Saudi Arabian league. Messi joined PSG during the 2021 summer transfer window as a free agent from Barcelona.
