Sam Allardyce Returns to the Premier League

by Our Reporter

Former Newcastle United manager, Sam Allardyce has returned to the English Premier League to manage Leeds United until the end of the season.

Leeds confirmed this in a statement that was released on its official website on Wednesday, May 3rd, 2023. The decision to sack Javi Gracia was taken by the club following a series of bad results which could see them play in the Championship next season.

Big Sam as he is popularly called is known as one of the managers who has specialized in taking teams out of the relegation waters. Leeds will need his expertise as they look to survive relegation this season.

Leeds are currently in 17th place after their disastrous performance against Bournemouth. They have played 34 games this season with four games left to play against Manchester City, Newcastle United, West Ham United, and Tottenham Hotspur.
