Manchester City’s captain, Ilkay Gundogan has reportedly agreed to join Barcelona Football Club as a free agent.
The German has reportedly signed a two-year deal with the Catalonia club which will keep him at the Camp Nou until the summer of 2025 with an option to extend by another year.
The Cityzens had earlier confirmed that he will leave the club when it submitted a list of players that will be retained and released by the club.
The 32-year-old was in fantastic form for City this season, he scored 11 goals and seven assists in 51 games, and two of his goals came in the 2-1 FA Cup final win over Manchester United. He went on to lift three trophies this season ( Premier League, FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League).
