Popular musician and Olamide’s ex-signee, Temmie Ovwasa speaks out on the toxicity in the Nigerian music industry as she laments on how record labels play with the lives and minds of signees
This comes after popular singer, Mohbad died following issues related to his former record label, Marlian Records and it’s boss, Naira Marley.
According to Ovwasa, a lot of dangerous activities are in play behind the screens of fans. Some label boss play with the lives of their artistes and when the artist speaks up, they try to end his or her life.
The ex-YBNL signee added that she had gotten her peace of mind because she doesn’t intend to carry any music career to heaven.
She wrote:
“When people speak out about the politics and toxicity in the music industry, the games these labels play with people’s lives and minds, believe them. Your faves are strangers to you, you don’t know them and I promise y’all have no clue how deep it runs.
Dangerous men playing dangerous games,
