First-team Coach Leaves Chelsea After Four Months

by Our Reporter

Chelsea Football Club have been a shadow of themselves since the new owners, led by Todd Boehly, took over the club in July 2022.

The club has seen a large number of players and managers leave Stamford Bridge since it was taken over by Roman Abramovich. The latest person to leave the club is Graham Potter’s assistant, Bruno Saltor, who stayed back to work with Mauricio Pochettino.

The telegraph confirmed that Saltor left the club secretly just four months after it was announced he would be part of Pochettino’s coaching staff. According to reports, Chelsea decided not to make the decision public as it could add to the unsettling atmosphere that is happening at the Stamford Bridge Club.

This update means that two members of the team that joined Chelsea from Brighton with Graham Potter are still at the club: Ben Roberts, who was promoted to head of goalkeeping this summer, and Kyle Macaulay, who has continued to work as a data analyst.

The exit of Saltor depicts what Chelsea has been going through in the last 12 months. He was in charge of the Blues game against Liverpool after Potter was sacked just seven months in charge of the club.
