Naira Marley Addresses DJ Splash’s Mental Health Allegations

by Our Reporter

Controversial Nigerian artist Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, has responded to claims suggesting that he played a role in the difficulties faced by DJ Splash, an alleged former Marlian Music disc jockey.

In the midst of the controversy surrounding Mohbad’s death, there have been online reports implicating Naira Marley in running a drug cartel that adversely affected DJ Splash’s life.

The male DJ recently conversed with Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, alleging that the ‘Soapy’ singer and his associates had plotted to harm him during their association.

However, during an interview with former presidential spokesperson Reno Omokri, the music star clarified that DJ Splash was never under contract with his record label. Naira Marley asserted that the young DJ had never been employed by him, and the label of ‘Marlian Music DJ’ was attributed to him solely because of a photograph they had taken together.

According to Naira Marley, he was not present at his residence when DJ Splash encountered his troubles and was perplexed by the origin of these allegations. The artist firmly maintained that people are fabricating falsehoods against him since DJ Splash was never officially associated with Marlian Music.

In his own words: “DJ Splash was never signed to Marlian Music; I know him as a DJ, but he has never performed as my DJ at any shows or events. It’s not like he served as my DJ; they merely bestowed that title upon him due to a photograph we took together. As amicable as I am with everyone, there are numerous individuals who come and go around me.

“When whatever transpired with him, he was nowhere near my premises, and I’m puzzled as to where all these claims are originating from. DJ Splash, DJ or whatever, I don’t comprehend the source of these allegations; it’s all fabricated. He was never my DJ, he was never affiliated with Marlian Music, and he has never worked for Marlian Music
