Harry Kane made history in German club football with a sensational hattrick for Bayern Munich in their Bundesliga clash against Borussia Dortmund, setting a new record in the league.
The England international broke the record for the highest number of goals scored by a player in his first 10 appearances in the Bundesliga. Kane has now scored 15 goals for Bayern in the Bundesliga with three hattricks under his belt as well.
The record for the highest number of goals scored in the first 10 appearances was 14 goals, but Kane’s 15 goals takes him a goal above the previous record, making him the new record holder in the league.
Bayern has remained unbeaten in the Bundesliga this 2023/2024 season under the guidance of Thomas Tuchel, and the league champions would be looking to continue this run of form in their title defence.
