Manchester United’s forward player, Marcus Rashford has been at the center of scrutiny from supporters of the club following his poor performance this season.
There has been speculation on the future of Marcus Rashford following the situation between the player and United manager Erik ten Hag in the past week. He was forced to apologise to the Dutchman after attending a nightclub party to celebrate his birthday following last weekend’s 3-0 derby defeat to Manchester City.
There were reports that after the City match, Rashford had gone to a nightclub for a pre-arranged birthday party hours after the Old Trafford loss.
However, Rashford cleared the air about his future by responding to a tweet from The United Stand, a Manchester United fan page on X formerly known as Twitter, questioning whether the 26-year-old’s future at the club may be in doubt.
He responded by saying,
“Please STOP spreading malicious rumours.”
Erik Ten Hag will hope Rashford will find his fantastic form from last season which saw him score 30 goals across all competitions.
Please STOP spreading malicious rumours.
