Manchester City’s manager, Pep Guardiola has reacted to Premier League’s decision to deduct ten points from Everton for breaking the Financial Fair Play rules.
The Spaniard international was speaking in a post-match conference ahead of the crunch league game against Liverpool. Pep Guardiola was asked about Everton’s situation and the 115 allegations that have been levelled against Manchester City.
“Two completely different cases. All I know from the lawyers is Everton is a completely different case. I am not going to say one word about Everton because I don’t know the reality of what happened. They are two completely different cases. I know people are saying, why don’t Manchester City go to the Conference, but let’s wait.”
He also spoke about his team’s fitness.
“We have a few problems, the same as many clubs. We will see in the training session and we will see tomorrow. At 6 PM I will know for sure which players I will have tomorrow. Always it’s plan A.”
However, Guardiola has always insisted that he will remain at the club no matter the outcome of the charges that has been levelled at the club.
