Former Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri, has reportedly rejected an offer from Premier League club Nottingham Forest to replace Nuno Espirito Santo.
According to Alfredo Pedulla, Forest had offered the Italian a three-year contract to take over immediately.
However, Sarri is said to be planning a return to football in the summer and has turned down the offer.
The 65-year-old, who left Lazio earlier this year, guided them to second place in Serie A last season.
Forest, who are currently appealing their four-point deduction from the Premier League, was found guilty of breaching profitability and sustainability rules following their decision to delay the sale of Brennan Johnson in a £47.5 million deal to Tottenham last year.
