Premier League CEO, Richard Masters, has said Manchester City’s hearing for their 115 financial charges will happen in the “near future”.
Masters stated this on Friday, while speaking at a European Leagues press conference in London.
He however gave no specific dates for the hearing.
In February 2023, City were charged with 115 separate alleged breaches of the Premier League’s Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations dating back to 2009 and running until 2018.
The champions strongly deny the charges.
City’s historical charges make them much more complex than the recent cases involving Nottingham Forest and Everton.
