Vinicius Jr accepts Ballon d’Or LOSS as Real Madrid pulls out of ceremony

by Our Reporter

Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr has decided to skip tonight’s Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris, believing the result is already locked in.

According to reports from renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, no one from Real Madrid—players, coaching staff, or management—will be at the event.

Romano broke the news on X (formerly Twitter), saying: “Vinicius Jr will NOT travel to Paris as Real Madrid know he will NOT win the Ballon d’Or. No one from Real Madrid will attend the ceremony. No Florentino Pérez, no Vini Jr, no Carlo Ancelotti, no Jude Bellingham.”

This comes after a rumor on Sunday hinted that Vinicius might snag soccer’s most prestigious individual award. But it turns out the buzz was off. Instead, Manchester City’s midfield dynamo, Rodri, is expected to take the crown.
