Manchester United will travel to face 14-time winners Arsenal in a highly anticipated FA Cup third-round clash set for January.
The third-round fixtures, where Premier League and Championship clubs join the competition, are scheduled to take place from January 9 to 13.
Manchester United, 13-time winners of the FA Cup, are set to meet Arsenal in the Premier League this Wednesday, just over a month before their knockout encounter in the historic tournament.
Other notable fixtures include Aston Villa, seven-time FA Cup champions, hosting West Ham United in the only other all-Premier League matchup.
Last season’s runners-up, Manchester City, will play against Salford City, a fourth-tier side and close neighbor, while Premier League leaders Liverpool host League Two club Accrington Stanley. Chelsea will welcome another League Two team, Morecambe, at Stamford Bridge.
Eight-time FA Cup winners Tottenham Hotspur face a trip to non-league side Tamworth. Tamworth, along with Dagenham and Redbridge, is one of only two non-league teams to reach the third round. Dagenham and Redbridge will visit Championship side Millwall.
Brighton & Hove Albion, currently fourth in the Premier League, will travel to face Norwich City from the Championship, while Championship leaders Sheffield United host Cardiff City, who sit 20th in the league standings.
