Singer Abdulazeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, and Oniyide Azeez, known as Zinolesky, have reacted to a Magistrate Court acquitting them of any responsibility for the death of Aloba Oladimeji IleriOluwa, also known as Mohbad.

A Magistrate Court sitting in Yaba, Lagos State, cleared singer Naira Marley, along with Samson Balogun Eletu, also known as Sam Larry, Owodunni Ibrahim, known as Primeboy, and Mohbad’s former manager, Opere Babatunde, in connection with the case regarding the death of the singer.

In a post on social media, the duo wrote “Alhamdulillah, no more case” on Tuesday afternoon following the Court ruling.

The ruling came after receiving legal advice from the Lagos Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP), which concluded that these individuals had no case to answer.

However, the court has ordered the prosecution of auxiliary nurse, Feyisayo Ogedengbe and Mohbad’s friend, Ayobami Sadiq for acts of recklessness and negligence under Lagos State law. The two will face trial at the Magistrate Court.
