Five dead, 15 rescued in Lagos building collapse

Emergency responders have recovered five bodies and rescued 15 others alive from the rubble of a three-storey building that collapsed in the Ojodu-Berger area of Lagos.

Mr Ibrahim Farinloye, Coordinator, Lagos Territorial Office of the National Emergency Management Agency, confirmed the figures on Sunday in Lagos.

Farinloye said the five recovered bodies included two adult males and three females, while those rescued alive included six adult females and nine adult males.

Rescue operation is still ongoing.
