by Our Reporter

The newly-crowned champions of the Premier League will receive their first guard of honour from the Blues of London, as Liverpool look forward to keeping their celebratory mood intact on Sunday 4th of May at the Stamford Bridge. For Chelsea on the other hand, there’s plenty to play for as they keep pushing for the Champions League spot, hoping to maintain their undefeated form in the league for the last 5 games.

Chelsea and Liverpool both approached this season with a new outlook and prominent signs of change. But as the season progressed, the Reds of Merseyside displayed a dominant all-out force clinching them their title of being back as the most successful club in English league glory. Chelsea on the other hand, started the season brightly but fizzled out their form towards the end of the 2024 year, yet maintaining their European stride in the Conference league. They now play the semi finals against Swedish side Djurgarden, but will have a lot to play for in the match against Liverpool.
