The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, has joined his ancestors. The revered monarch passed away in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, after reigning for one year.
Oba Olakulehin, who celebrated his 90th birthday just two days earlier on July 5, ascended the throne on July 12, 2024, following his coronation by Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde. He served as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland.
