BREAKING: PDP expels, Wike, Fayose, Anyanwu over anti-party activities

The National leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has expelled the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and former governor of Rivers State, Mr. Nyesom Wike, former governor of Ekiti State Mr. Peter Fayose and others from the party over their alleged anti-party activities.

The expulsion announcement was made on Saturday by the former Deputy National Chairman (South), Chief Olabode George on behalf of the party at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, venue of the ongoing Elective National Convention of the party.

In the same vein, the National and State Officers of the party in Omo state, Abia state, Enugu state, Plateau state and Rivers State were dissolved in line with sections 33(2) and 33 (3) of the Constitution of the PDP which is supreme.

Announcing the expulsion, Chief Bode George said “the following members are hereby expelled for their anti-party activities: His Excellency Nyesom Wike, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, Hon. Adeyemi Ajibade (SAN), Hon. Umar Baturie Abdulrahman Mohammed, Hon. Austin Nwanchukwu, Abraham Ammah, and Dan Orbih”.
