Novak Djokovic Becomes The First Man To Win 23 Grand Slam Titles

Novak Djokovic seems to have ended the debate of who is the greatest tennis player between himself, Rafael Nadal, and Roger Federer.

The World Number tennis player became the first man in the history of tennis to win 23 Grand Slam titles. The Serb achieved this feat at the Roland Garros final which was played on Sunday, June 11th, 2023 by defeating Norway’s Casper Ruud in straight sets 7-6(1), 6-3, 7-5 to win his third French Open title.

Djokovic (23) has now surpassed Rafael Nadal’s (22) Grand Slam titles which include 10 Australian Opens, 7 Wimbledon titles, 3 Roland Garros, and 3 US Open titles.

The 36-year-old will hope he can take his Grand Slam title to 25 by the end of the year. He must win the Wimbledon and the US Open to achieve this feat.
