Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, Friday morning announced the passing of his father.
The South Africa- based goalkeeper announced in an Instagram post this morning just hours after he played for 90 minutes in Super Eagles’ 1-1 draw with Benin Republic in an African Cup of Nations qualifiers in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.
The goal tender wrote “Rest in peace, Dad” with a tearful emoji.
The cause of the death is still unknown as at press time.
