Eagles’ boycott: We’ll confirm when agreement is reached–Troost-Ekong

Super Eagles Captain, William Troost-Ekong, has stated that the senior national team remained resolute on their demand for the outstanding bonuses and allowances being owed them by the Nigeria Football Federation.

Troost-Ekong stated that the players were all united to pursue the ongoing boycott to press home their demands.

He added that hey were also ready and aware of the big match ahead against Gabon on Thursday in Rabat, adding that they will be ready to play the game.

“The players are all united on this. We will reach out to tell the world when a resolute is reached but for now, we don’t want to say more. Any other statements, claims or demands might not be from us but we will confirm once all is well.

“We are focused on the big match ahead but all we want and continue to do is to focus on the big game ahead.”
