The board of Paris Saint Germain and Lionel Messi seem to have found a resolution to the recent situation between them.
Messi was initially suspended by the club following his decision to travel to Saudi Arabia without its permission. The 2022 World Cup winner was expected to miss two games for Paris Saint Germain in the French Ligue 1 against Troyes and Ajaccio.
The Argentine released a video on Friday, May 5th, 2023, where he apologized to the club and its supporters as it concerns the incident that had earlier led to his suspension.
However, reports from Canal Sport Foot have confirmed that PSG has decided to suspend Messi’s suspension. The club posted a picture of the 35-year-old in training along with his teammates. This decision means he will be available for this weekend’s game against Ajaccio.
