by Our Reporter

WWE wrestler and former champion Bray Wyatt, popularly known as The Fiend, has passed away at the age of 36.

The wrestling federation, which consists of fans, wrestlers, commentary experts, and managers, was hit with the devastating news that confirmed the passing of Bray Wyatt, also known as The Fiend, at the age of 36.

The sad news was confirmed in the early hours of today, Friday, August 25, 2023, that the late wrestler, who was known for his signature move ‘Sister Abigeil’ and as the leader of The Wyatt family, had been absent from the ring following reports of him battling with an undisclosed health issue.

Born on May 23, 1987, in Brooksville, Florida, Wyatt was a state wrestling champion in high school. He earned a football scholarship to Troy University but left before graduating to become a professional wrestler. He debuted in 2009 under several names including Husky Harris, Alex Rotunda, Duke Rotundo and The Fiend. As Bray Wyatt, he portrayed the villainous leader of a cult faction named The Wyatt family with Erick Rowan, Braun Strowman, and the late Luke Harper (aka Brodie Lee). After being released from WWE in 2021, he made a long-awaited comeback at the pay-per-view Extreme Rules event last October, where he debuted a new version of his character.

The former wrestler is survived by his fiancée, a former WWE ring announcer named Joseann Offerman, their two children, as well as two children from the wrestler’s prior marriage. He is also survived by his brother, Bo Dallas (Taylor Rotunda), and his sister, Mika.

What is the cause of Bray Wyatt’s Death?

According to Sean Ross Sapp a wrestling reporter, Bray had passed away as a result of a heart attack following his battle with COVID-19 alongside his existing heart conditions. According to BBC News, He said, “There was a lot of positive progress towards a return and his recovery. Unfortunately today he suffered a heart attack and passed away.”
