Real Madrid forward player, Vinicius Jnr has agreed to extend his contract with the La Liga giants which will keep him at the club until 2027.
The news of the contract extension was announced on the official website of the Galacticos on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. Vinicius joined Real Madrid in 2018 and has been a key part of the success that the club has enjoyed in the past five seasons.
The 23-year-old expressed his excitement about the decision to extend his contract for another four years. He said he is looking forward to winning more titles and scoring more goals for the club.
“Hola Madridistas! I’m really happy to have renewed my contract, it’s a dream for me. I hope I can stay here for many more years, scoring lots of goals and winning lots of titles. Thanks a lot for the affection as always, Hala Madrid.
He has made 235 appearances, scoring 63 goals and winning nine trophies: one Champions League, two Club World Cups, one European Super Cup, two La Liga, one Copa del Rey and two Spanish Super Cups.
He was named the best Young Player in the 2021-2022 Champions League and has twice been named in the Champions League’s best 11 (2021-2022 and 2022-2023) and twice in LaLiga’s best team (2021-2022 and 2022-2023).
