Kidnappers Of Wife Of Retired AIG Odumosu Neutralised

Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force have neutralised the kidnappers of Folashade, wife of retired AIG, Hakeem Odumosu.

The rescue operation, it was gathered, was led by the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Lanre Ogunlowo.

The feat was announced on Thursday by the Force Public Relations Officer, Mr. Olumuyiwa Adejobi, on his social media handles.

He added that the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, had commended the operatives for a job well done.

Adejobi’s post reads: “BREAKING: Police Neutralise AIG Hakeem Odumosu’s wife Kidnappers, Recovers Ransom.

“The IGP has commended the Police Operatives and CP Ogun State, Lanre Ogunlowo, for a good job. We are committed to safeguarding Nigerian citizens and our dear country.”

The kidnap victim was said to have been rescued and the ransom paid recovered on Wednesday.

No further details were given as to how and where she was rescued.

Recall that she was kidnapped last Thursday at the entrance of her residence in Arepo, Owode local government area of Ogun State.
